My career started when the internationally renowned Exotic Animal Training and Management program at Moorpark College accepted me into their program. After graduating, I began working with birds and exotic animals at the infamous Playboy Mansion and from there I trained marine mammals at Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and Conny-Land in Switzerland. I ultimately ended up working with a variety of animals and insects for TV and Hollywood films, including the world famous “Lassie” with Bob Weatherwax. Then I embarked upon my biggest test as a dog trainer; I was tasked to train over 300 puppies for Walt Disney’s “101 Dalmatians.”
After a remarkable and successful career in television and motion pictures, I moved back to San Diego and I launched my own dog training business to enhance the lives of people who love their canine companions. I rigorously keep up on advancing my education because I always strive to know more to be the best at what I do. I am also a volunteer on the service dog training team for Pawsitive Teams, a non-profit organization in San Diego. I genuinely love what I do, and I am so proud to be a professional Oceanside dog trainer. I know I can help you with your dog, let’s unleash their freedom together!

How I Train
101 Dog Trainer is a results-based dog training service with the primary goal of educating you so you understand how to bring out the best in your dog/s. I use both operant and classical techniques and always focus on positive reinforcement first and foremost.
